Proposed Edible Projects

Currently the Cannabis Manufacturing License only requires: description for waste disposal, inventory and quality control, transportation and security, and compliance with local (city or county) ordnances. This may lead to issues if a company has many locations.

1. Currently the cannabis edible industry has not been regulated under the FDA or USDA. All other food/ beverage manufactures are required to be monitored/ regulated to assure all food safety concerns. It will not be long until the federal government makes these products legal throughout the United States and required the adherence the new or current codes of regulations.

2. Current food regulations require documentation on all practices that affect food safety.
